Whether you are hanging out at the Guest Haus, or day tripping around the area, make us your basecamp to your Wyoming adventure. There is so much to do in and around Story and we are close or on the way to several national parks and national monuments not to mention all of this historic sites. Story is the epicenter of Wyoming's wonderland of outdoor adventures.

Fort Phil Kearny, the Wagon Box fight, the Fetterman Massacre, remnants of the Bozeman Trail, Where Red Cloud camped, where Buffalo Bill slept. There are endless places of historic interest here in Story, Sheridan and Buffalo.	Hiking & Biking Pictured here is the Penrose Trail. There are many trails to go hiking and biking around Story and up in the Big Horn Mountains and the Cloud Peak Wilderness area.
Fishing Wyoming has a variety of fishing opportunities in it's many streams, lakes, and rivers.	Day Trips There are lots of things to do and see in and around Story. Take a day trip to see places like Little Big Horn Battlefield, Devil's Tower, Mount Rushmore, and the Crazy Horse Memorial.
Scenic Drives Shown here is Tensleep Canyon a scenic drive up Highway 16 west of Buffalo. There are many scenic places to drive up in the Big Horn Mountains and through Cloud Peak Wilderness area. Take Highway 16 west of Buffalo or Highway 14 west of Sheridan. See wildlife like deer, antelope, moose, and elk. You may even see the occasional black bear!
